The Orgone Accumulator is reinterpreting the homonymous device developed by Wilhelm Reich to increase the energetic potential of orgasm. It takes the form of a cabin built of very specific materials studied to accumulate the energy emitted for healing purposes, through climax. The box made of steel and tiles amplifies the polarity between sexual pleasure and the experience of confinement. Popularized by the writings of the Beatniks, this structure, that is between design, architecture and sculpture, reflects a search for the physical dimension in a space, and the pursuit of an alternative spirituality.
